Sometimes the photographers at KTBC FOX 7 would give me their B-roll scraps and let me create exclusive online videos. This story is about Brittney Griner, a record-breaking girl’s basketball player, who was the first girl in Texas UIL history to dunk in the playoffs.

Here’s a video piece I put together for BurntOrangeReport.com, the leading progressive politics blog in Texas. I wrote the script, shot and edited all video.

And if you feel like watched an extended interview with two of Buddy Holly’s back-up singers who were honored at the Texas State Capitol for their contribution to the state’s rich musical history, feel free to view it here. Skip to the end to hear the rock ‘n’ rollers sing their parts from the song “Oh, Boy!”
